LEYLINES is a four-piece technical metal band uniting musicians from across the United States — experienced from all corners of the metal and hardcore world. Featuring drummer Michael Ranne (Through The Eyes of the Dead, ex–My Bitter End), frontman Jonathan Carpenter (ex–The Contortionist, Notochord, Foreign Waves), bassist Bill Hobson (Falling Through The Center Of The Earth, Circuit Of Suns), and guitarist Jesse Blanchette (Conforza, Graveborn), the band’s pedigree is as undeniable as its ambition.

On the cutting edge of syncopated brutality, Leylines weaves polyrhythms, dissonant drops, and groove-laden chaos into something both punishing and hypnotic. Vocals range from an unrelenting spectrum of screams to surprisingly calming singing layers, all while abstract aural textures bleed into blistering drum blasts, whammy-drenched guitar slides, and the kind of chugs that leave the air feeling heavier.
